EAR Committee meeting

The Economic Development, Energy, Agriculture and Recreation Committee, chaired by Councilmember Don S. Guzman, will receive a presentation from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development on prospective agricultural projects, Maui County’s film industry, an upcoming energy conference and the Made in Maui festival.
OED will also talk about a bill to enhance the Economic Development Revolving Fund program.

A resolution will be considered to authorize a lease of real property for use as the Kaunakakai Little League Ball Field on Molokai.
Another resolution would authorize the acceptance of a beach wheelchair from the Tri-Isle Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc., on behalf of Hoaloha `Aina: South Maui Volunteers.
The Department of Parks and Recreation will provide an update on its programs, operations, and capital improvement projects.
