Applications sought for Board of Water Supply and Commission on Children and Youth
WAILUKU, Hawaii – There are two vacancies on the county’s Board of Water Supply and two vacancies on the Commission on Children and Youth, announced Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee Chair Michael P. Victorino.
“If you have the time, expertise and interest in serving on either of the boards, please step forward and apply,” Victorino said. “Volunteering on a board is a great way to learn about our county and serve the community.”
The Board of Water Supply makes recommendations to the mayor, the Department of Water Supply and the council on matters concerning the county’s water systems.
The Commission on Children and Youth makes recommendations to the mayor and the council on matters concerning children and youth, such as child care and youth programs.
The application form is available at MauiCounty.us/PIA, along with instructions and contact information. Applications may be submitted to any councilmember.
Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, Feb. 19 and will be considered by the committee at its Feb. 29 meeting.
