General Election is scheduled for Nov. 4, 2014.
Oct. 30 update: Molokai walk-in voting location on Saturday will be closed.
Some important dates to consider:
Walk-in absentee voting:
Oct. 21 to Nov. 1
Voter registration deadline: Oct. 6, 2014
Permanent absentee registration deadline: Oct. 28, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
If you are registering to vote, your application must be postmarked to the City or County Clerk where you reside.
To get more information and to download the forms, visit the Office of Elections website.
Are residents allowed same-day registration this November?
No. Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed Act 166, which would allow late registration on the day voters head to the polls, but the same-day voting registration won’t begin until the 2018 elections to give state election officials time to phase in the program.
Interested to volunteer?
Do more than just vote – become an integral part of the election process by volunteering as a precinct official.
The Office of the County Clerk is recruiting election workers to staff polling places and other election facilities for the general election. Volunteer workers assist voters through the election process and perform other tasks to ensure the integrity of local elections. Training is provided. Volunteer stipends start from $85 per election day.
