- Support workforce stability by offering financial and career incentives, including vacation leave payouts upon program completion.
- Support for Midwifery and Maternal Health
- Expand access to midwifery by legalizing traditional and cultural birthing practices.
- Develop locally accessible pathways to licensure for Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and Certified Midwives (CMs).
- Address systemic barriers to reduce maternal mortality rates, particularly among underserved populations.
- Establish a Home Birth Task Force to improve safety and coordination in maternal healthcare.
