- Proposals for increasing the availability and affordability of housing
- Oversight of the Department of Fire and Public Safety, Department of Police, Maui Emergency Management Agency, and Office of Recovery, including Federal, State, and County emergency proclamations.
- Implementation of the following General Plan objective:
- Mitigate Climate Change and Work Toward Resilience.
